Thanks for the 'gorgeous' comment, I enjoyed painting this, large scale, large brushes, lot more painterly than my usual work.

It makes me look forward to the day I retire and can spend time painting so many scenes I have in my mind and planning!

thats the best part about being an artist you can paint for a very long time, not like a sports person whose career is over as they age.

All an artist needs is the passion.

It's an older work, anything that is a photoscan of photos, which means pre digital camera is 4-5 years ago.

I used to work 18hours a day/7days if not longer, my theory at the time was sleeping was a waste of time, and the more practice I got the better I should get. After a few nervous breakdowns I have modified my behaviour. Getting too old to put that make pressure on myself. :iconcrazyplz::painter:

I really did crack up and I would not recommend that type of obsession. I am still looking for that 'one' elusive masterpiece but I have started to play again and just try and enjoy the process. I have learnt to say 'no' to commisions (very demanding) and a lot of art exhibitions.

I have learnt to be idle without feeling guilty.

Thanks, it was the clouds and the atmosphere they created that captured my attention. I was delivery paintings to an Art Show in a town called Bright, and it is always a very scenic drive. (200km)

I love dramatic landscapes. Still working on trying to paint it. I dont do a lot of landscapes. :iconcloudsplz:
