Vermeer - Oil Painting

This looks really good! The shading is perfect and the colors in his fur are very realistic, as well as his eyes. The glistens correspond with the light source and his right ear shows light streaming in well. The thing that looks just a little odd is the distortion of his face. It looks a little flat and the way the right ear hooks perfectly on the outside of his cheek and then folds behind looks odd. Other than that, it looks nearly perfect! Especially the sense of reality augmented by all of the minor details like the light, colors, and whiskers.
