Experiment just using thread. Let the cotton extend past the stretcher made it more interesting, and more obvious that it is thread (fragile)

The thread just flows and yet it looks tamed. I really like this and how it differs from an ink drawing by the little bit of thread that's hanging off the canvas. Makes me want to experiment with some thread.
